The NYC-based company FLüD Watches took a trip to the left coast to introduce their collaborative effort with Stones Throw's very own Mayer Hawthorne. In the Eric Coleman-directed video, the crooner formerly known as DJ Haircut fills us in on his love for DJing, and what it means to have his own logo on his wrist. We get a peek at the limited-edition watch, which features a single turntable holding Hawthorne's red heart-shaped logo on vinyl, before catching a performance of "The Walk" with his band The County. Hopefully a watch this clean can rescue you meat market patrons from that icy shoulder after dropping the "your skin is so luxurious" pick-up line. Probably not, though. You can purchase the artist's TablesTurn timepiece from his website or directly from FLüD Watches, and check out the Hawthorne's album, How Do You Do, in stores now.
