Spend '4EVA' With Tweet

If you're a fan of Tweet, then you should already know that she's dropping exclusive new tracks for fans every Tuesday. Today marks the third week of the venture, which has already brought us Tweet's fantastic cover of Aretha's "Day Dreaming" and new joint "Trouble," and it continues the streak of great releases. Like "Smoking Cigarettes," "Iceberg" and "Taxi" before it, "C 4EVA" is another song in which she laments about the heartbreak of love lost exquisitely. No one does heartbreak like Tweet's soft, feathery vocals as she sings "Look at me/Tell me what you see/Do you think of love?" All this is underscored with the sweetly sad strains of a guitar and strings as she floats in and out of the sadness of the situation. Though it seems like her new album is taking forever and a couple of weeks to get here, I'm so very glad that she's decided to bless us with these beautiful songs each week and will wait patiently for what's in store next Tuesday.
