These Kissey Collaborations Are Just What The Doctor Ordered

Though we're still waiting on a full-length project from her, Kissey is keeping fans contented with a handful of collaborations. She teams up with British production duo Royalty on the '80's pop-inspired "Eroica." Heavy on the synths and sensuality, the song deals with the frustrations that often accompany unrequited love. And while it's Kissey's voice that tells the story, the video only features shots of Royalty's Elliot Yorke and Chesca. Inspired by Ryan Gosling's 2011 movie, Drive, the video is equally as moody and dark as the original film. Royalty's EP, also titled Eroica, is due out July 16th.

Fans of the Swedish singer can also catch her on two other projects. She shows up on Nickodemus' album, Moon People, on the song "Mirage." The album, which dropped in June and is the third for the NYC-based DJ/producer, is chock full of Nickodemus' signature world beats. If "Mirage" doesn't get you on your feet, then Kissey gives fans more of what they want with another single, "House," that appears on Tokyo Dawn Record's house music compilation, The Move. She first debuted the song on her SoundCloud page two months ago, but it'll finally be available for purchase also on July 16th. Other artists on appearing on The Move include Jazzanova's Alex Barck, Swell Session's Andreas Saag and Om Unit. So while it's far from being the new project we all have been waiting for, at least she's keeping us happy with good music in our ears.
