K'La & Nas Play The 'Blame' Game

Def Jam signee K'La has been bubbling underground for a while with her mixtape The Coldest Winter Ever. Now, though, she might finally get her chance to break through. Yesterday, she dropped here debut single "Blame," which features Mr. Life Is Good himself Nasir Jones. "Blame" is a fairly good introduction to the lyricist/singer, with production that fits her voice pretty well. It's Nas' feature, however, that really kicks things up a notch (is it just me, or has Nasty Nas been on it lately?). "Her only mistake was I caught her rocking 'Takeover,'" he rhymes slyly, mimicking a similar line from Jay-Z while simultaneously giving K'La's song a needed boost. "Blame" should definitely get a little burn this summmer, but I'd like to see what moves K'La will make on her own. Give it a spin below and tell us what you think.
