While the wait for Mateo's official debut album seems to have gotten a little longer, he's dropping something in the meantime to tide us over. That something is Suite 823, a new mixtape that he'll release for free download on August 1st. We only have a week for that to drop, but he's giving listeners a sample of what to expect on the track "Looking You Up" featuring fellow singer/songwriter Stacy Barthe. Mateo and Stacy's voice blend nicely as they trade verses about the a love that is lost that they hope to find again on the slow groove. Suite 823 will be available to download from Mateo's website of the same name next week, and for another tease hit the bounce for a brief video for the song "Carry On," which can also be found on the new mixtape when it's released.
