Lianne La Havas is certainly a star on the rise. Her handful of EPs and singles have set the blog world on fire, gained her an army of admiring fans (myself included) and impressed those hard-to-please mainstream media critics. With her album due for release in a couple of weeks it looks like it's not just the fans and critics she has won over, though, as she was invited to open for Erykah Badu when she came through London last month. After the show, Lianne caught up with Erykah's backing vocalist, Durand Bernarr, and friend/fellow star-on-the-rise, Marques Toliver, to deliver an impromptu, a capella performance of Lianne's mournful single, "Lost & Found." We know all three possess fantastic voices, but the combination of them on this track is goosebump-inducing to say the least. Those harmonies are on another planet -- in a very good way.
