Maze Hill, the latest signees to Brit indie label Wah Wah 45s, have made it quite clear that, although they are newcomers to the game, they are in it for the "Long Haul" with their aptly titled debut single. The trio consists of producer Andy Highmore, vocalist Holly Bestic and singer/spoken word artist Joshua Idehen, and it's apparent from the very first listen that their influences are varied. They combine elements of electronica and jazz with soothing, soulful vocals, making them a sure-fire hit with fans of fellow Wah Wah artists Stac and Scrimshire, as well as alt-soul acts such as Little Dragon and Quadron. The single, which also features a remix courtesy of LV, an instrumental and the track "I Can Be Your Light," will be officially released on October 12th and can be streamed below or pre-ordered via their Bandcamp page. In addition, the LV remix is available as an exclusive free download over at XLR8R.
