Collette breathes new life into her summer single, "Material Star" featuring fellow singer and musician Akil Dasan, with a music video full of fun and frolicking. Shot on location in Harlem in sunnier and drier times, we see Collette and Akil singing outdoors while kids play and ride their bikes and bystanders look on and enjoy the mini concert. This clip matches the easy breezy sound of the song, even if there aren't too many of the material trappings that they sing and warn about to be seen in it. "Material Star" is the first listen from Collette's upcoming second album, Juneteenth Revolution, which will be released on December 4th.
