Nas Got 'A Queen's Story' To Tell

Who needs a fancy, flashy, big budget music video in this day and age of viral sensations shot on shaky cell phones? Certainly not Nas who takes that route with his visuals for the song "A Queen's Story" from his Life Is Good album. The Salaam Remi-produced track is pretty gritty as Nas tells a tale of where he's from, how he's lived and all the friends who he's lost along the way. The no-budget clip features photos of many of those fallen soldiers (including Chris Lighty) as well as footage of Nas and his boys carousing, clips of fellow Queens titans LL Cool J, 50 Cent and Russell Simmons, the requisite strip club visit and other random footage. This definitely isn't "Cherry Wine" or "Bye Baby," but it's something to watch once and keep it moving.
