Rekindle Your 'Love Affair' With Prince

You may have noticed that last night's edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live had a purple hue to it. However you didn't need to adjust your television screens to get the color right. Instead you needed to turn the volume up and rock out with none other than his royal badness himself, Prince. The Purple Yoda was on hand to perform his new single "Rock n Roll Love Affair" for a raucous audience on Jimmy Kimmel's outdoor stage. Dressed in canary yellow pants and a jacket adorned in tones of copper and gold and accented with fringe, Mr. Rogers Nelson was by far the fairest of them all. Sorry, Andy Allo, you, too, were rather lovely on guitar and background vocals, but Prince took the crown.

The performance itself was typical Prince -- awesome wrapped in fantastic -- but it's what wasn't shown on TV that will have any fan of the man jumping for joy. After the television cameras stopped rolling, personal and cell phone cameras sprung into action to catch all of the action still happening on stage when Prince and crew performed a litany of his hits and even broke folks off with a little of Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and The Time's "Cool" during an epic 12-minute jam session. Yes, that happened. If you don't believe me, then check out the video evidence below while you can. The footage may not be the best, but hearing the master at work that is Prince sing and play will totally make up for it.
