There's 'No Such Thing As Too Late' When It Comes To Brandy

Brandy is back and delivering another track to keep fans happy in the lead up to the release of her upcoming album, Two Eleven. I was a young teen way back when she hit us with "I Wanna Be Down," and boy, I sure tried my hardest to sing those runs, that I can't lie about, and I also can't lie about the fact that some 18 years later (seriously!?), I want to see Brandy get back to hits of that caliber and to succeed once again. In light of this, I find the title of her latest track quite fitting. On "No Such As Thing As Too Late" Brandy shows us the softer side of herself, laying her heart on the line as she sings about waiting to take things further with her true love. While this slow tempo number produced by Rico Love may not be as instantly catchy or as memorable as previous release, "Wildest Dreams," and gives a slight album-filler vibe, it does keep that little flame of hope burning in me that Two Eleven will be a return to more consistent quality music from Brandy.
