Lolah Brown & BJ The Chicago Kid Give Us A 'History' Lesson

2012 was jam-packed full of great music, so much so that we somehow overlooked Cleveland, Ohio native Lolah Brown. Having paid her dues singing backup for the likes of Nicki Minaj, John Legend and Rihanna, Lolah decided to branch out on her own and release her free album/mixtape, Black Lily, at the start of last summer. Despite getting some heavy coverage around the blogosphere I failed to take notice, that was until she released her latest video for the track "History" featuring BJ The Chicago Kid. The pairing of these two voices works perfectly over the moody R&B production (courtesy of Fly Union) as they weave a tale of lust and rekindled romance. If you like what you hear then hit the bounce to watch the '70's-inspired video for her earlier single "Here I Am", and grab Black Lily for free99 here.
