There is nothing like hearing some good old classic house to set it off -- whatever "it" is. And there's nothing like a good DJ who knows how to spin the classics with smooth transitions and blends that will make you want to keep dancing all night long. I came across such a DJ when I met DJ Erv recently. This NYC native and DC transplant has been spinning around the Washington, DC area with increased frequency, and he knows his house music inside and out. So when I asked him to do a classic house mix for the Mixologists series, he rose to the occasion with House Classicks.
