I admit, I haven't learned much about Rudimental since SoulUK wrote about their track "Spoons" last March, but the Two Inch Punch remix featuring SoulBounce fave MNEK and young singer/songwriter Syron has me searching the internets to get all caught up. The soulful house tune's facelift is accented by what is, at times, a semi-schizophrenic beat, but it all works in its favor. This is just one of several remixes that have been released for the song. I shouldn't be surprised that I like it so much. Go back and catch the videos we posted last week of the group's live performances at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios. They are definitely giving me something to look forward to when their debut album Rudimental is released next month.
