Solange Gets 'Down' On 'Late Show With David Letterman'

I missed Solange in concert when she came to Washington, DC last week, but I was able to get a little taste of her live show on last night's Late Show with David Letterman. And what a tasty soul treat she delivered to my living room with a performance of "Don't Let Me Down," lifted from 2012's stellar True EP. Dressed in a polka dotted mini, flaunting killer legs and rocking a massive "natural" wig that looked like an angelic halo around her head whenever the light hit it just right, Solo looked retro chic yet she sounded fresh as ever. She did have one or two flat notes, but overall she did a fantastic job complete with cutesy choreography. And let's talk about her band, who were pretty damn great on their own, although I do want to check the ID's of her two barely legal looking background singers.
