Tiara Wiles Wants To Be Your 'Copy Cat'

How apropos it is that Tiara Wiles' "Copy Cat" finds me the morning after I was fully enthralled in TV One's Unsung retrospective on disco. This is not meant to be a pejorative association, but it can't be denied that most music today labeled as dance has its roots in the 1970s. This particular smart and catchy tune explores Tiara's innuendo-laced versions of the golden rule: "do me like you want me to do you" and "make me feel good if you want to feel good, too." The creative production and vocal arrangement suits her voice well and brings to mind some of Kelly Rowland's uptempo club songs. Hopefully there'll be more bangers like this on her upcoming EP, Tainted Love, when it's released in April. Until then, I dare you to press play and not have "Copy Cat" stuck in your head.
