Quentin Moore Is A 'Natural'

Sometimes you never really notice the talent that surrounds you. Take, for example Texas soul crooner Quentin Moore. During my college days, I actually shared a few classes with Quentin and we have many mutual friends. And, though I knew the boy could sing, I never really stopped and took notice. Fast forward a few years later, and I'm definitely paying attention. That's because Quentin has come with it on his latest single "Natural Sista." The song, a tribute to the ladies who rock their hair in its natural state, is an easy, breezy track that reaches back to the neo-soul sound of the early 2000s and updates it a bit for this decade. It also finds the southern soul purveyor using a healthy dose of falsetto (something else I also didn't know he had in him). "Natural Sista" is the lead single from his upcoming project, You Forgot Your Heart, which you can look for this spring. In the meantime, check out the track below and head to his Bandcamp page to purchase the song for the natural sista in your life.
