Little Mix Remind Us 'How' Much We Missed Missy Elliott

The resurgence of female hip-hop mastermind Missy Elliott is finally happening, slowly but surely. While her friend and collaborative partner Timbaland is out backing this year's most over-hyped albums from the likes Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé, Elliott is partaking in a few lighter efforts. Grabbing hold of the British four-piece girl group known as Little Mix, Missy has jumped on their latest single "How Ya Doin'?" and added her famed flow. While I must say, I'd take Jaheim's use of Curiosity Killed The Cat's "Name And Number" over this record any day, Little Mix's colorful pop world plays out quite well in this visual. And, of course, Missy looks good, rocking her signature jogging suit and all. From "Without Me" on Fantasia's forthcoming album and "Wanna Be" with Eve, Elliott's collaborations will continue to roll out as the year goes on. I only hope that these releases are leading up to a bigger picture, which would be an album from the woman who brought us GRAMMY Award winning hits and unmatchable creative moments in the past. As for Little Mix, after conquering the United Kingdom charts with their debut album DNA, they are now preparing to take on America. DNA, which also features a little help from TLC's T-Boz, will be available on this side of the pond this May via Columbia Records.
