If you are anything like me, then your musical tastes will be somewhat dependent on what's going on outside your window. When it's cold and miserable, you want something warm and cozy. When it's late at night and pitch black outside, you want something soothing (or maybe something a lil' freaky). But when the sun is out and shining bright, you need something with a little "oomph," something you can blast out of your speakers with the windows down. Thankfully, here in the UK, it's a case of the latter and 23-year-old Belgian producer Pomrad has just the soundtrack. Released a couple of weeks back, his This Day EP is chock-full of feel-good future-funk that just screams "summer is here" (or at least on it's way). All six tracks are worthy of a spin or three, but it's the EPs title track that will be my go-to-groove for the drive home.
