The return of crooner Glenn Lewis and the announcement of his new album was enough to send long-waiting fans into a tizzy. This was helped by his smooth single "Can't Say Love," which showed that Lewis was still in fine form. As great as the song is, though, it didn't exactly break the mold for male R&B. Unfortunately, the track's video doesn't either. Chronicling a series of unfortunate relationship mistakes on the singer's part, it paints him as possibly the worst boyfriend ever. Of course, though he constantly forgets and neglects the lady in his life, he still manages to deny the advances of thirsty women and, after a heartfelt performance in a dimly lit nightclub, even gets back into his lady love's good graces. Is anybody else feeling déjà vu or did I just describe every male R&B video from the past three decades? Regardless of the clip's lack of an original concept, it's still great to see Glenn back on the block and with more than just the promise of new material coming soon.
