Spend A Little Bit Of 'Forever' With Catching Flies

The last time we caught up with London-based producer Catching Flies, he was refixing Jill Scott's "Golden" to match his own moody style. Now, however, he's showing off some of his own original material. "Stay Forever" combines Catching Flies' languid production with soulful, distorted vocal samples sets up a definite mood throughout the track. But, just when you think you've got the song figured out, he injects a bit of warm, jazzy saxophone to cut through the sullen feel of the beginning and turns your expectations on their head. "Stay Forever" is the first release from Catching Flies' upcoming EP The Long Journey Home, which features three new songs, a few remixes of "Stay Forever" and the aforementioned Jilly from Philly refix. You can head to his Bandcamp page to pre-order the set (which drops June 17th) and pick up "Stay Forever" on it's own. But before you make tracks, experience the downtempo brilliance of "Stay Forever below. [H/T: PBB]
