Determined to elbow his way into the already crowded music spectrum, Sunni Colón drops the latest single to hail from his upcoming release, The Els Flowers, due out later this month. "1000 Roses" is a contemplative ballad that finds the LA-based artist declaring his love and loyalty to his "Rosie." Driven largely by piano, the song ebbs and flows with a gorgeous string arrangement that provides a lush backdrop for his restrained vocals to unfold against. While this song does little to stave off comparisons to that other brooding, sensitive crooner/sometimes MC, Sunni still manages to feel like a breath of fresh air in this often stale music scene.
