Daley Keeps Us Engaged With Some New 'Songs'

Another day, another artist dishing out freebies while we wait for the main event. This time it's Daley who saw fit to drop a three-song EP available to all for whatever it costs you to drop your e-mail address on his website. The freEP, Songs That Remind Me of You, opens with "Glitter Haze" which sounds totally different from the title track, which is in turn distinct from "Silly Games." Daley demonstrates not only his impressive vocal range, but the many styles he'll surely put on fuller display when his debut album Days & Nights is released. Daley's voice keeps me guessing because of its versatility. I was hopelessly confused the first time I heard "Alone Together" featuring Marsha Ambrosius, wondering when "this Daley dude" (as I referred to him then) was going to start singing, and not much has changed since then. By the time "Silly Games" played, I had to check to make sure it was still him. I have a feeling questions about who Daley is won't linger much longer. Spend a little time getting to know him better by listening to the complete EP after the bounce then grabbing your free copy now from his website.
