While Kanye West's latest release, Yeezus, took to the Billboard charts last week and earned him his sixth chart-topping album, many listeners and longtime fans still stand on a fine line between loving and hating the new grunge rap material. A few of West's good friends and frequent collaborators have banned together to bring listeners something a bit brighter with Tony Williams' latest single "Rise And Shine." Grabbing hold of JoiStarr, whom he spent years touring with as a part of West's background vocal troupe, and Malik Yusef, Williams offers a nostalgic sound that immediately takes you back to the Late Registration era. With his signature vocals once heard on records like "Drive Slow," "We Major," and more recently, "Blood On the Leaves," he soulfully croons an inspiring message of his own for the world to hear. "Rise And Shine" serves as the lead single for the re-release of his debut album, King or The Fool, and is available on iTunes now.
