When K. Michelle drops her album Rebellious Soul she will be looking to silence all the haters and show people that there is more substance to her than what they may have seen on television. She's on the right track, because already we have been impressed with offerings like "V.S.O.P" and "I Don't Like Me." To further prime us for her big release, she has released a sampler that contains clips of four other tracks from the album: "Can't Raise A Man," "Damn," "Hate On Her" and "When I Get A Man." These songs give further insight into K. Michelle's past and showcase her as a vulnerable artist willing to put it all out there. K. Michelle's vocals seem more controlled and mature than some of her contemporaries like Keyshia Cole, which will definitely separate her from the dense pack. K. Michelle has talked a big game, so I will look forward to hearing the whole story when Rebellious Soul is released August 13th.
