The 'Sparks' Fly On These Jesse Boykins III Covers

With the July 18th release of his new EP P.O.P. [purpose or people] on the horizon, Jesse Boykins III is in serious promo mode. Over the past week or so, the indie crooner has leaked not one, but three tracks from the ambitious project. After doing his thang on Drake's "Doing It Wrong," he repurposes tracks by The Rapture and Coldplay as his own. Coldplay's "Sparks" gets the schwaza treatment, adding a richness and depth to the already stripped-down number. Meanwhile The Rapture's "How Deep Is Your Love" becomes a disco-inspired jam that's sure to make even the most staid listener break out in a two-step midway through. And best of all, the last two leaks are available for free download via his SoundCloud page. So hustle on over to enjoy these covers the JBIII way.
