Television viewers are getting to see another side of Dawn Robinson on R&B Divas: Los Angeles, but longtime fans know that she rose to fame as a member of En Vogue and later Lucy Pearl. Those days are behind her, and Dawn is embarking on a solo career and performing her one-woman show at stages around the country. On Thursday, August 29th she'll find herself in the Washington, DC area at the Carlyle Club in Alexandria, VA presented by The Liv Suite. The snazzy supper club will play host to Ms. Robinson who will sing EV and LP classics as well as covers and maybe even some never-before-heard solo material.
