Bounce-Worthy: LaChardon

We here at SBHQ kind of have a thing for SoundCloud. It's the perfect hub for some of the illest originals, remixes, refixes and covers, and they're normally only one scroll away. On a Saturday morning SoundCloud session a few months back I came across this New Jersey vocal mastermind, and I've been completely enamored with her ever since. She goes by the name LaChardon, and, trust, you don't want it with her vocally. From her spicy take on Beyoncé's sassy "Grown Woman" to her churchy rendition of Bilal's "Sometimes," she is known to grab hold of a record and completely body it. In the past year alone she has taken on Chris Brown's "Fine China," Brandy's "Music" and Tamar Braxton's "Love & War," offering something fresh and new with each take. Fortunately for us all, along with this greatest hits-like list of covers, she has been conjuring up some original tunes of her own. With her lead single "Lemonade," she has teamed up with Luke Witherspoon and Marckel Robinson to offer up the sweetest pitcher of audio libations. Grab yourself a straw, take a sip of her first single via Bandcamp and keep your ears open for more to come in the near future from the lovely LaChardon.
