Toni Braxton & Babyface Do Some Remodeling In 'Hurt You'

Toni Braxton and Babyface literally tear down the walls that they've built up between them in the music video for "Hurt You." Days after appearing together on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to perform this track, the dynamic duo premiered the passionate and powerful visuals this morning on Centric. The pair have come a long way from the bouncy fun of "Give U My Heart," their first duet together in 1992 and our introduction to Toni. On "Hurt You" they sing of infidelity, heartbreak and the painful side of love, and the video reflects these themes with Braxton in one room and Babyface in another with only a wall separating them. We see each in intimate scenes with other partners but pining for one another as they sing in their respective rooms. They can't take being apart anymore and beat the wall into submission before it gives way and they're back together again. One of them leaving their room and knocking on the other's door to gain entry may have been simpler and done less damage, but for the purposes of this video their dramatic actions work.
