I'm already making plans to attend the 20th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival next year and make my way back to New Orleans for the festivities, the food, the fun, the sights and especially the sounds. Thankfully I don't have to wait until next July to get a taste of the sound of New Orleans thanks to the Rebirth Brass Band who are coming to Washington, DC for a two-night stand at The Hamilton. The GRAMMY-winning, world famous brass band will be in the Nation's Capitol for two shows on Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th. If you've heard these cats play or seem them on Treme then you already know that it's gonna be a party going on in The Hamilton this weekend.
