Michelle Williams is taking "If We Had Your Eyes," the lead single off of her forthcoming Journey To Freedom album, to the next level. Inviting everybody's favorite churchy R&B singer Fantasia for the praise party, Williams released a remix this morning that is applause-worthy. With the two ladies both working with London-bred producer Harmony Samuels throughout this year, this duet moment was bound to happen and I'm glad that it did. Not only does this effort have a strong message, but the vocal performances from both of the ladies here are beyond top notch. If nothing else, this record is the gospel moment that many have been waiting for from Fantasia. And no, she's not off the hook just yet; a gospel album from the American Idol winner is long overdue.
