Denai Moore's "The Lake" has been on my mind since it first dropped at the beginning of the month. The sparse, mournful, yet utterly beautiful track is taken from her EP of the same name, which in turn is a follow up to Saudade, the EP that first brought her to our attention and led to us proclaiming her Bounce-Worthy. After gaining the approval of Jools Holland and landing a slot on his Later With... show, Denai has just dropped the official video accompaniment to "The Lake" and it reinforces the song's bleak nature through an emotional narrative.
