The last time we heard from German producer Tensnake he was lending his golden touch to Little Dragon's "Ritual Union," but now he is taking a break from remixing the work of others to concentrate on the impending release of his solo album, Glow. Somehow we missed the Fiora and Nile Rodgers-assisted "Love Sublime" -- yes we are kicking ourselves -- but the project's second single, "Feel of Love," certainly has our attention. With a little help from fellow producer Jacques Lu Cont and vocalist Jamie Lidell, Tensnake delivers a funky workout awash in shimmering '80s nostalgia, and Lidell is once again giving us serious Prince vibes. Based on these two tracks, Glow might well be the pre-summer soundtrack we have been waiting for.
