Another NBA All-Star Game is in the books, with the East beating out the West in a pretty high-scoring game for both squads last night. The game was cool, but the talk of All-Star Weekend was Kendrick Lamar's performance at NBA All-Star Saturday Night. Right before the annual Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, K. Dot and his band kicked in the door with a head-banging, neck-breaking rendition of "m.A.A.d city." Kendrick was a striking figure on stage from his stylish hoodie sweater to his Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers, which appeared to glow on his feet. He was looking like a bag of money and sounding even richer. About halfway through his performance he switched gears and segued into the chill of "B**ch, Don't Kill My Vibe." He spoke to the crowd for a little before launching into his lyrics to an audience of hands waving and bodies moving. Kendrick went in as usual, but the best part of watching him perform was seeing him smile and really feed off of the audience's energy. Frown and turn down for what?
