Letoya Luckett Ends The 'Wait' For Her Music

Letoya Cross Legged

It's been nearly five years since former Destiny's Child songbird Letoya Luckett released her last solo effort, Lady Love. After flexing her acting muscles on shows like Second Generation Wayans and Single Ladies, it seems she's ready to return the focus to her music with the release of her new track "Don't Make Me Wait," which she debuted on Single Ladies recently. The track finds the "Torn" singer talking rather candidly to her potential lover about what they could do tonight, that is, if he doesn't keep her waiting too long. Her demands and overtures are backed by a futuristic R&B track packed to the brim with 808s and a seductive groove that's sure to appeal to her fanbase. And, at just over two minutes, it's short and sweet enough to keep them clamoring for more. Letoya is currently working on her upcoming third album Until Then..., but don't fret, "Don't Make We Wait" is available now on iTunes. Take a listen to it right here.
