Sam Sparro & Durand Bernarr Give Us Something To 'Hang On 2'

With Valentine's Day coming begrudgingly around the corner, Sam Sparro has pretty much succeeded in warming my cynical (and perpetually single) heart with the visual for his latest single, "Hang On 2 Your Love." If you've been slumbering, Sparro released the first installment of his Quantum Physical "music mini-series" project before last year clocked out, and while there isn't a word on when the following two installments will be released, Sparro is keeping things afloat with the hyperactive house number and its tolerance-themed visual. Styled out in mostly stark black-and-white, Sparro along with fellow singer Durand Bernarr, give us intimate snapshots into the love stories of numerous couples from all walks of life and lifestyle (and due to all the sexy going on you're forewarned that the video is a tad NSFW). Sparro doesn't shy away from the message the he's sending, as he tweeted awhile back about "Hang On 2 Your Love" being dedicated to "those in Russia, Iran, Uganda & worldwide, struggling with oppression and violence in the name of love," and with the current controversy over the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and last month's backlash against the unified pro-LGBT display at the GRAMMY Awards, he isn't incorrect about his stance. Though some will disagree, I'm one who is glad to see someone like Sparro who continues to fight the good fight and push the positive forward with "Hang On 2 Your Love." And for that, this visual is truly worth hanging on to.
