By now most readers will be familiar with London-born, Austria-based producer SOHN thanks to his stunning production on Banks' "Waiting Game" and Kwabs' "Wrong Or Right" and "Last Stand," as well as remixes for the likes of Disclosure, Lana Del Ray and Rhye. What many may not realize is that SOHN is also a solo artist, releasing a couple of EPs that not only feature his on-point productions but also his vocals. Having drawn praise from those artists he has already worked with, as well as big-name stars such as Miguel, SOHN is preparing to release his debut full-length album, Tremors, via 4AD this April and last night he stopped by Zane Lowe's BBCR1 show to unveil the project's lead single and Zane's "Hottest Record In The World Right Now," "Artifice." Sounding like a cross between Jamie Woon and the boys of inc., SOHN's airy, soulful vocal glides above this rumbling electonic soundbed that he crafted with a little help from fellow producer Two Inch Punch.
