Tamar Braxton Is Boss At BET Honors 2014

Tamar Braxton might not have won a GRAMMY at this year's ceremony, but she did get another distinctive honor at this year's BET Honors. The youngest Braxton got to be "The Boss" for a night on the stage when she was tapped to do a medley of Diana Ross' hits during a tribute to Motown founder Berry Gordy. Starting the set with the tender "Theme From Mahogany," Tamar handled the task fairly well while draped in simply a beautiful amethyst gown. But she wasn't just there to sing a pretty ballad. Making sure that she and the audience got their entire life, she switched to Diana's disco hit "Upside Down" as two dancers came out to give an assist. While her vocal for this portion was just a tad shaky in spots, Tamar gave it her all and looked like she was having a ball while doing so. Get a peek of Tamar channeling her inner Diana right here.
