Teedra Moses sent her fans into a tizzy when she announced that she would be releasing a new album. However, as the months passed without any solid release date for The Empress Pride Collection in sight, excitement quickly turned to disappointment. That's all in the past now, though, as Teedra is gearing up to release new EP Cognac N Conversations. Leading off the set is Teedra's brand spanking new single, "All I Ever Wanted." Helping itself to a hefty portion of Dynasty's oft-sampled classic "Adventures in the Land of Music," Teedra sings to a lover who gave her money instead of giving her what she really wanted: his love. But now that she's on her own and making her own way, she's discovered that she no longer has a need for him. While we've all heard the song's theme and sample many times before, Teedra does offer a freshness here that can be appreciated. And after a rather long wait for new material from the singer, I'm sure fans will be more than happy to hear from the songstress once again.
