Neneh Cherry's return to the scene some 25 years after her debut, Raw Like Sushi, is a feat many wouldn't be able to achieve. And the album she returned with, The Blank Project, is just as daring as anything she's ever done. The second single "Everything" is an eclectic, funky workout of a track that courses with energy. For the song's video, she enlisted fashion photographer and director Jean Baptiste Mondino. What resulted is a black-and-white clip featuring 50-year-old Neneh moving and shaking like a woman much younger in an empty studio. As she flings, thrusts and winds her away back and forth across the floor, the camera zooms in and out on her energetic performance and her interesting outfit gets plenty of time to shine. If anything, the song and video are quite unconventional, but when has Neneh been anything but that?
