Songstress and future R&B Divas: LA star Chrisette Michele showed some love to Washington, DC on May 10th for the DC Love Festival, also featuring Lysette Titi and Talib Kweli. During Mother's Day weekend, the songstress sang her heart out to the DAR Constitution Hall audience. Dressed head-to-toe in flowers, Chrisette sang some of her hits like "Epiphany," "Love is You" and "Like A Dream." She gave each song a new feel with a jazzy undertone and even took the audience to church with an a cappella rendition of "Total Praise." Moving across the stage with flawless elegance and weaving every song with a personal story, Chrisette is always worth catching live.
