Butta: Well here we are for another SoundTable Discussion album review and this time around we’re giving Mariah Carey’s new album with that long ass title a spin.
D-Money: Can we just discuss the title for a second though?
Butta: Yes, just a second. Because, I can’t deal.
D-Money: Neither can I. Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse? Really, Mariah? I still can’t type it without my eyes rolling.
Butta: When I think of Mariah the lastest word that comes to mind is “elusive.” Lauryn Hill is elusive. D’Angelo is elusive. Mariah is married to Nick Cannon.
D-Money: Right. And the thing about Me. I Am Mariah...And I’m Having A Mid-Life Crisis is that no one will ever call it by its full name. Why not just call it I Am Mariah or I Was Drunk When I Came Up With This Title?
Butta: LMAO Me...I Am Mariah would have been just fine to tie in her childhood drawing.
D-Money: Now you know Mariah drew that picture two days before she announced that madness.
D-Money: That being said, let’s talk about the music on Me. I Am Mariah...A Ridiculous Human Being, because I can rag on this title all day.
Butta: You’re killing me softly and we haven’t even started talking about these songs yet.
D-Money: Oh...just wait and see.
