Taylor McFerrin Goes 'There' With Robert Glasper & Thundercat

Taylor McFerrin's upcoming Early Riser is quickly turning into a must have album. After impressing with Nai Palm-featuring "The Antidote" and then seducing alongside Emily King on "Decisions," Taylor gets jazzy with a little help from friends Robert Glasper and Thundercat on the album's latest leak, "Already There." While operating at a breakneck tempo, the trio creates a dreamy soundscape lush with hi-hats, intricate keys and guitar and a complex drum rhythm that is nothing short of amazing. And while the swift pace doesn't really allow listeners to catch their breath, the shimmering musical masterpiece they concoct is breathtaking. While previous releases may have hinted that Early Riser would simply pair Taylor with a vocalist on each track, it's nice to see that his musicianship is also getting a chance to shine on the album as well.
