LOLAWOLF Have Some Hot Fun In The ‘Summertime’

Electro-pop cool kids LOLAWOLF are back to their eclectic tricks again. After raising eyebrows over their recent single "Jimmy Franco," the NYC-based trio -- comprised of  Zoe Kravitz, Jimmy Giannopoulos and James Levy -- are splish-splashing into something a bit more festive. Like the season itself, "Summertime" is fleeting as it only clocks in for a brief 2:09, but they pack in a lot of groove and spunk into those minutes as Kravitz lets her sugary sweet tone wash over a pinball rhythm that evokes the cheeky rhythm n' pop of Kelis back when she was kicking around the sound playground with The Neptunes. It's just some breezy good audio catnip that begs to be put on repeat.
