Last year, The Weeknd took us to Kiss Land with his debut studio LP. Now, he takes us back into the bedroom with "Often." As usual, the track features woozy, bass- and hi-hat-heavy production as Mr. Tesfaye waxes raunchy about his sexual prowess. "I used to love sleepin' all alone/but this time bring a friend witcha," he sings as the song opens, letting listeners know exactly what it is he does often. He proceeds to let us know that, among other things, he can make it rain and pop (I'll let you determine for yourself what "it" is, as this is mostly a family publication) with a surprising frequency. X-rated as it all may be, this is one romp that's definitely worth hearing, especially if you're a fan of The Weeknd's spin on R&B.
