Grant Phabao Adds A Little Reggae To Alice Russell's 'Army'

Summer is upon us and what better way to celebrate than by blasting a little dub and reggae from your speakers. Thankfully the good folks over at Paris DJs have us covered with their new crowd-funded compilation by Paris DJs Soundsystem, Vinyl Is Good For You Vol.1, a collection of remixes and original tracks that will be released as a 7" vinyl box set in very limited numbers. One of the 7" singles included in the collection features dub/reggae reworks of two Alice Russell classics, "Seven Nation Army" (originally by The White Stripes) and "Humankind," courtesy of respected producer/engineer Grant Phabao. Unfortunately both reworks are not available on the digital edition of the compilation due to licensing restrictions, but Paris DJs have kindly previewed them on their SoundCloud page and, it has to be said, both are absolute summer scorchers!
