British outfit Snakehips has been cranking out smooth tune after tune for our listening pleasure (his work with singer Sinead Harnett is particularly inspired). And while we love the remixes and vocal tracks, we also love it when the producers play alone as well, which Snakehips does on the new release, "After Met I U." Released by popular demand after fans kept inquiring about the record after their live shows, the song mixes the familiar with a new sound to keep music lovers on their toes.
Taking a sample of Cheri Dennis' minor hit "I Love You," Snakehips breathes new life into the track over synths and a banging drum track that just won't quit. The electronic groove bumps along quite nicely, and just before you think it's over, it switches things up with a sample of Jennifer Lopez's "Get Right" to send you along your way. All in all, it's every bit of the danceable goodness that you expect to come from Snakehips' way.
While "Days With You" seems to be the main focus at the moment, it's nice to see that Snakehips isn't above gifting fans with a little somethin' somethin' every now and then. Get some feel good when you take a listen right now.
