When Little Dragon first premiered their video for "Klapp Klapp" back in February, we were treated to a haunting, creepy vision and a cliffhanger ending. And now the quartet gives us its Nabil-directed sequel in the form of the official video for "Pretty Girls."
We pick up right where we left off, with our protagonist being dragged into the back of a van just as the spell she's cast takes hold. We're then transported to a seedy underworld club, where gangsters are arguing and some kind of black market beauty pageant is being held. Our girl eventually shows up and is quickly dolled up and pushed on stage to perform. Big mistake. While her performance seems completely innocent, things take a dark and sinister turn for the crowd rather quickly.
It's not exactly the clip we were expecting for the slightly melancholy, yet somehow uplifting song, but we must say that it damn sure makes for some damn good entertainment. Turn on your night lights and peep the eerie visual for the track right here.
