We Think You'll 'Love' siik's Jade Remix

We love a good remix here at SoulBounce, especially one that’s laced with nostalgia. That’s why we’re always excited when producer/DJ siik hands us another one of his creations. He has a knack for dusting off old favorites and making them appear shiny and new.

For this go-round, he’s targeted beloved ‘90s R&B group Jade (who, coincidentally, ended an almost 20-year hiatus earlier this year with a catchy new single, “Baby Luv”). Siik chose their single “I Wanna Love You” and deftly paired it with a classic sample from Spandau Ballet’s “True” by way of Lloyd’s “You (Remix),” which featured Andre 3000 and Nas. The result is a slightly mellowed-out groove worthy of any backyard party/summer jam playlist. FYI, this is one of those songs that will unconsciously force you to “duck face” and snap your fingers while dancing. Just go with it.

Don’t walk away (see what I did right there?) just yet, listen to the song below, and check out siik’s other remixes via his SoundCloud page.
