To say that 2014 has been a big year for Kwabs would be the understatement of the year. He's amazed us with two EP releases -- Wrong or Right and Pray For Love -- including multiple remixes, and last we heard from him, he wowed us with a flawless live performance of Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It."
It's good to see that Kwabs hasn't been resting on his talented laurels with yet another new song for us to dig into with "Walk" surfacing this week. And dig it we do with its piano and percussion driven instrumentation, scratches and electronic blips that have a hip-hop feel appeal to it. The music itself is a head-nodding treat, but Kwabs' voice is once again the star of the story as his rich tones effortlessly fill our ears. Lyrically, he sings about needing to ease his mind from the pressures of the world and walk it out before he falls and breaks down. Given what's going on in this world today, talk about timely. This track is the complete package.
Make haste to press play on "Walk" right here, and listen out for its official release on September 29th.
